As a HLRO administrator, the post holder will play a pivotal part in supporting the delivery of the workstreams/programmes across the organisation’s business areas. They will work as part of a dynamic team in managing and delivering an effective service supporting clinicians, senior managers and staff working on appraisal and revalidation and responding to concerns programmes, to support the delivery of the Responsible Officer statutory function across primary care and the independent sector providers as appropriate.
The post holder will provide subject expertise and key technical support as part of its responding to concerns and professional performance workstreams. The post holder will manage performance cases in line with national policies and guidance, consider and interpret complex findings and report these through governance processes.
The post holder will provide be responsible for the general administration of the team and will be ensure that the Revalidation Management System (RMS)and appraisal software packages are kept up to date. They will support colleagues in the delivery of GP appraisals and ensure the statutory obligations in regard to medical revalidation are completed.
The post holder will be responsible for the administration and minuting of meetings. The post holder will be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally, ensuring all public and patient contact with the office is of the highest professional standard. They will ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers.
Some working from home and some travel between offices.
