Useful Resources – NHS Learning Programme Preparing for your future as a nurseĀ 

General Practice Handbook for Student Nurses (Word version) – This handbook has been created as a guide to structure a student nurse placement. It contains an introduction to general practice, health and safety induction, introduction to the team and clinical information. The handbook has been provided as a Word document with the intention that you can edit and personalise the handbook for your own practice.

Suggested Timetable for Student Nurse Placement This document has been created as a suggested format for your student nurse placement, but is designed to be adapted to suit your needs.

Training Hub Student Nurse Support Programme – The aim of this programme is to facilitate learning and provide opportunities for collaboration and networking throughout the student’s placement. Details will be provided to students prior to commencing their placement in primary care.
