This course will be delivered face to face at Victoria Offices & Conference Centre (Victoria Suite), Station Approach, Victoria, St Austell, PL26 8LG.
Building on our previous Masterclasses we have changed the format for our 23-24 programme to a 3-hour session to enable more learning and conversations to take place. It is delivered by Jo Redgrave of Sevenstone HR, a Fellow CIPD member and ILM Executive Coach, who has over 20 years’ experience of working in HR and regularly delivers training to practices locally on behalf of the Training Hub.
This course is aimed at Practice Managers, Strategic Managers, HR Managers and Line managers with People management responsibilities working in Primary Care. It focuses on performance, both good and bad and looks at best practice for managing both good performance and poor performance . It is designed to allow for interaction and sharing of good practice approaches. You will receive a workbook to complete as part of the session which will include prompts for the discussion during the session and any personal notes.
This session will cover:
- The importance of regular 1:1 performance-based conversations.
- Providing productive and useful feedback.
- Spotting poor performance ‘Can’t do Vs Won’t do’.
- What does ‘Capability’ really mean?
- Setting a plan and clear performance-based goals for improvement.
