Building on our previous Masterclasses we have changed the format for our 23-24 programme to a 3-hour session to enable more learning and conversations to take place. It is delivered by Jo Redgrave of Sevenstone HR, a Fellow CIPD member and ILM Executive Coach, who has over 20 years’ experience of working in HR and regularly delivers training to practices locally on behalf of the Training Hub.
This course is aimed at Practice Managers, Strategic Managers, HR Managers and Line managers with People management responsibilities working in Primary Care. It focuses on good practice in managing absence, both short and long term and helping staff to be well at work. It is designed to allow for interaction and sharing of good practice approaches. You will receive a workbook to complete as part of the session which will include prompts for the discussion during the session and any personal notes.
This session will cover:
- Long term and short-term absences – differences and similarities.
- Importance of the return-to-work interview.
- Triggers for an absence review discussion – and the potential link to capability.
- Ideas for proactively managing individual well-being at work.
- What do we mean by Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging?
- How does this impact on wellbeing at work?
Please ensure you have a microphone and camera to be able to fully participate in these sessions. As these sessions are interactive there will be the use of discussions and break out sessions.
