Our aim is to work with Commissioners and Providers across our patch to ensure the voice of General Practice is heard and that our shareholders views are represented.
We are represented at all levels within the STP process and are part of the whole system resilience network.
We want to see community services that work; where our community teams are integrated with our practices who exert control over their community teams for the good of our patients; we will also be involved in bidding for and delivering related services at scale.
We know that many of our GPs want to work in a portfolio manner within a family of local services that are clinically led by local General Practice. Having a vibrant local portfolio of services is critical to attracting and keeping GPs in Cornwall. Examples are: the Referral Management Service, the Acute GP Service and the Out of Hours Service / 111.
Through our CEPN and Vulnerable Practice / Property Schemes, we will provide direct support to our Practices that allow them to be sustainable and resilient.
