Outdoor activities

Whether you’re a water sports pro or you want to take it up as a hobby, Cornwall is the ideal place to live the outdoor lifestyle. With hundreds of beaches on both the north and south coasts, there are plenty of places to relax with a book, take a dip in the sea or take your four-legged friend for a walk.

If you love life ON the water, head down to Mylor and hire a boat and take a cruise up the Fal Estuary towards Truro. Newquay is another ideal spot for outdoor activities, being a popular tourist destination for international travellers and ‘staycationers’ alike. If you fancy a leap to the wild side, Cornwall has an abundance of high-octane activities such as go-karting and paintballing.  Check out what Cornwall has to offer here.

For golf lovers, there are plenty of top golf courses to hit a few a balls on. St Enodoc’s Church course regularly comes out on top as Cornwall’s best golf course, while Perranporth and Trevose also have popular courses. Check out the top ranking course here.
