Kernow Health CIC joins ESF Business Clusters project

Kernow Health CIC is delighted to be part of the ESF Business Clusters project, funded by the European Social Fund, which will engage and support at least 605 SME and micro-businesses throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to identify skills gaps and facilitate creative training. The aim of the project is to deliver an employer-led approach to improve the labour market relevance of skills provision.

This project is being led by Truro and Penwith College and will work with eight sector specific lead-partners project offer employer-led activities to a wide range of key sectors, including Construction, Early Years, Health and Social Care, Hair and Beauty, Hospitality and Leisure, Manufacturing, Marine, Retail and Digital Technologies and Software.

Kernow Health CIC will work with employers across health and care to identify skills needs, trial programmes with businesses and support flexible learning and delivery models. We will develop opportunities for businesses within the entire health and social care sector to be part of a system wide framework for portfolio working, governed by the terms of engagement and underpinned by a supervision model.
